Dog Code
This was a great book to read; I enjoyed it and learnt a lot from it. The Dog Code, Living and Loving, learning from a dog. There are 22 great chapters in this book to read, Be Real, Be Happy, know what you want, Focus, Boundaries, Enjoy the little things, and What you can do right now for each section of the chapter.
It made a lot of sense and made me realize of lot of things going on in my life that I can now change. Well done, I loved it!

A Wonderful Guide to Life Through Your Dog's Eyes
This is a wonderful guide to review and adjust how you approach your life on a daily basis through the eyes of your best friend, your dog. Wendy gives many examples of how to live intuitively as a dog lives - unfiltered, in the moment and how to easily expect better outcomes with extremely simple yet practical tools.
I loved The Dog Code and will re-read it and include the exercises in my daily routines. A must read book!

The Dog Code
A beautifully crafted Self-Leadership story at its best. Wendy has captured leadership in the most engaging and relatable way.
For me, the biggest takeaway is this: be authentic as a leader, learn from your mistakes, and keep moving forward—and surprisingly, one of the best teachers of that is your own dog.

It's a practical guide to how strong leaders carry themselves when the stakes go up
I wrote The Dog Code because I kept seeing the same pattern
Smart, experienced people would do everything right on paper and then lose the interview the moment they got into the room
Their CV was strong
Their track record was real
Their experience wasn't the problem
But when the pressure was on they over-explained and droned on and buried their best proof in long-winded rambling answers so they sounded less senior than they really were
Dogs don't do that
They don't perform for approval
They read the room
They know when to step forward, when to hold back, when to growl and when to curl up and rest
This is more relevant to leadership than most people realise
At your level, the game is rarely about having more experience
It's about how you carry yourself
And that's what this book is about
Wendy Alexander
One clearer answer, one calmer answer or one firmer boundary can make the difference between 'Start on Monday' and 'Sorry, we found someone better suited for the role'
The Dog Code turns timeless instincts into 'cheat codes' for when you're being judged and your value has to land and land fast
Respect time. Arrive with a point, a purpose and be ready before you say a word.
Know what you want. Ask for it directly. Stop hoping people will guess.
Trust your judgment sooner. Not every decision needs endless analysis.
Listening is leadership. Hear the real objection before you answer the wrong question.
Give the warning early. Hold the line without theatrics. No drama required,.
Protect your attention, your standards and access to you. Not everything is your problem.
Urgent is rarely important. Put your energy on what gives real results.
Healthy leadership is clarity, trust and contribution. Not noise. Not ego. Not micromanagement.
The Dog Code:An Ancient Wisdom for Living, Leading and Loving Better
This delightful book gives us an insight into how straightforward life could be, if we simply followed some basic behaviours of our canine friends. Wendy Alexander shares some observations of her own dog and through these, the reader can determine how they can use these characteristics in their own life, to stop overthinking and start living in the moment. It is an enjoyable and thought provoking read.

So true, relevant
I couldn’t believe that something so normal could be so inspiring. I never realized I could learn so much from the way dogs approach life. Now I know why dogs are so happy and carefree most of the time. The behaviours in this book made so much sense. We could learn from the way dogs approach life. I would recommend this book to everyone who wants to get rid of the noise in their lives and go back to basics.

A Delightful, Heartwarming Read
I was delightfully surprised at how easy to read, funny and profound this book was. I expected some some funny stories but instead was given startling insight on life through the eyes of our furry angels. Packed full of observations of how our 4 legged friends teach us how to live every day being present and joyful.
Each chapter has some tweeks about how to apply furry wisdom to your everyday. A real page turner. I couldn't stop!

Small Chapters but Big Impact
The chapters are short but incredibly powerful so it's an easy but impactful read. Seeing life through a dog's eyes gives so much more perspective and simplicity and it made the messages hit even harder.
And the final chapter made me cry in the best way. A beautiful self help book with so much heart.

Is this just a dog book?
No. The book shares thousands of generations of dog wisdom on how to navigate todays challenges around leadership, boundaries, presence, decision-making and clear communication.
I’m a senior professional. Is this too basic for me?
No. The more senior you are, the more people are listening for wisdom, judgment, steadiness, clarity and trust. That is exactly what the book helps you with.
How does this help with interviews and executive presence?
It helps you think more clearly under pressure, say what you want to say with no fluff, stop looking less professional than you are and show up with greater presence. Those are the things making a difference between acing the interview and getting a 'sorry, you didn't get the role' email.
What formats do I get?
You receive EPUB and MOBI editions so you can read it on most ebook apps and Kindle-compatible setups.
Is there an audiobook?
No, not yet. The current product is the EPUB and MOBI digital book with an audio book out as soon as we finish the audio files (which is hard by the way).
How do I get the files?
After purchase, you'll get secure post-payment access to the digital files.
What happens after I read it?
Use it on your own, or take the next step and work with Wendy on your real-world interview, promotion, pay rise or leadership conversation.
Can I still work with Wendy?
Sure. The book is the best place to start. After that, you can book an Intro Session if you want fast-track tailored support.
