Let’s start with the basics to get your head and body right for the life you deserve and to stay physically and mentally healthy through a crisis – any crisis

That’s it, your routines will become habits a lot sooner than you think

You can either get into crappy habits and be like the majority of people who never get past the ‘I wish’ stage or you can set yourself up to succeed from the moment you get up to the moment your head hits the pillow

First thing out of bed - this is your peak time, when you’re at your mental best and ready to go - so don’t waste it


𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲

Another word for that is reflect

Take time to be in silent reflection

If you don’t know how - then learn - YouTube will have you meditating better than a Tibetan Monk before you can see the first ad - there are that many FREE meditations there

Research the benefits of meditation - Google it - even five minutes a day makes a huge difference over time


𝗕𝗲 G𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹

Seriously, keep a journal and spend a few minutes and fill one page, or ten lines or start with one thing you can be grateful for and see how it changes your life

You’re here, you’ve got a computer, you’ve got unlimited learning potential, you’re not born 200 years ago when the average life expectancy was 45 years, you have food on the table, you have total freedom to do and learn what you want…

I think you get the picture


𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲

Sure we spend time at our desks so set an alarm to get up, walk around and simply move, make this a habit

Our bodies love movement and you’ll be amazed at the difference between an afternoon coffee vs a walk around the block


𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱

Let me illustrate with an example

Say you’ve bought into a racehorse syndicate with a few others and you’ve got yourself a share in a $500,000 colt

Would you let your new half million dollar investment scoff down a bacon roll and coffee for breakfast?

Would you let him grab a slice of pizza for lunch and a bag of chips for his afternoon snack?

Hell to the no!

So why are you doing this to yourself?

Start eating plenty of unprocessed foods and watch your energy (and concentration) levels go through the roof - and yes, YouTube will show you how - and what’s more - you’ll SAVE money by eating real foods and not packed crap


𝗦𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽

It’s way underrated as a success factor

Start turning off the phone two hours before bed - ignore the pings

Instead read a real book, watch a movie, learn to talk to the family or significant other - just slow down and chill and get ready to go to sleep

Don’t believe me?

Google the importance of sleep and you’ll find people who sleep 8 hours a night are skinnier, smarter, more chilled and more likely to be successful - whatever your definition of success is, good sleep will have something to do with it


Start with these few changes to your routine - they'll soon become a habit - and feel your energy change each day
